Creating Operator-Friendly HMI Interfaces in Legacy Plants

In many legacy plants, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) haven’t kept pace with evolving operator needs. Don’t forget HMI ergonomics. Many legacy setups require operators to walk across a control room or crane their necks just to acknowledge an alarm. Upgrading to larger screens or integrating tablet-based mirroring systems can make those controls mobile—an easy win for efficiency.
