Few frustrations hit harder for glaziers and end-customers than installing custom architectural glass panels, only to find that they don’t fit. For distributors, the financial sting is matched by the reputational damage. This includes laser scanning for as-built conditions, digital file sharing platforms to reduce drawing errors, and client approval steps before final cut orders. For high-volume customers, distributors are even offering measurement services as part of value-added support.

Accuracy is not just a fabrication issue—it’s a sales and communication issue. Ensuring dimensional integrity at every stage—from quote to crate—is what separates top-tier suppliers from average ones. In a market where custom glazing and oversized panels are in high demand, being “off spec” is no longer tolerable.
