Electric furnaces are the heart of modern steelmaking and metal casting. Whether in electric arc furnaces (EAFs) or coreless induction systems, furnace lining selection directly impacts uptime, melt consistency, and maintenance frequency. Magnesia-Carbon Bricks in EAFs

Magnesia-carbon bricks dominate EAF hot face linings due to their thermal conductivity, slag resistance, and thermal shock durability. These are typically installed in hearths, sidewalls, and slaglines.

Dry Ramming Mass in Induction Furnaces

Silica-based dry vibratable linings are common in coreless induction furnaces. They provide rapid sintering and smooth melt surfaces, essential for casting quality and coil protection.
