To avoid repeat scenarios, leading distributors now build freight buffers into their logistics planning for high-value or time-sensitive deliveries. Others are geofencing trucks, using real-time tracking tools, and embedding live ETA alerts into project dashboards shared with clients.

The best glass in the world is worthless if it arrives too late to install. In the distribution game, delivery is the last handshake with your client. Make sure it’s on time—and backed by a plan B.
