Walk the drawings as an installer would—not just a material shipper
Provide a risk index based on job size, weather window, install team complexity
Follow up mid-install to validate sequence handoffs
The PM may never say “thank you” for the heads-up. But you’ll be on their speed dial when the next spec hits their desk.
