When was the last time you sat down—strategically—with your client?
Annual site visits are nice, but Joint Planning Workshops make relationships durable. These are half- or full-day sessions where distributor and client stakeholders come together to map multi-quarter or multi-year goals, challenges, and joint KPI targets.
Start with: What’s changing? New building types? Code updates? Portfolio scaling? What supply-chain stressors are emerging? What product shifts are coming—thermal glass, bird-safe requirements, energy code compliance?
Next: How can we partner? Introduce pilot projects, packaging experiments, prototype glass assemblies, or on-site training days.
Finish with timelines: when do we order? Who owns technical sign-offs? What’s the feedback loop post-install?
To maximize value, include cross-functional teams: supply chain, QC, tech reps, operations. Invite 3rd‑party influencers like general contractors or architects when helpful. Document outcomes and tie responsibilities to both teams to ensure follow-up.
Clients seeing joint plans—safe, clear, scalable—are less likely to re-bid. They see working process, not paperwork.
