The solution starts with creating end-to-end visibility of material flow, from receiving and batching to final output and waste handling. It’s not about obsessing over grams—it’s about identifying where you’re losing percent points that could be turned into product or saved from landfill.
Let’s start at the batch house. Are your feeders calibrated regularly? Drift in load cells can cause over- or under-dosing. A 1% error on a 500 kg batch adds up fast. Installers are now layering inline weighing sensors and flow monitors on feeders and transfer lines to verify real-time input accuracy—not just rely on scheduled checks.

Data centralization is the final step. MES platforms can now track material mass balance across the full chain—from inbound truck scale to outbound shipping weight. This allows you to reconcile input vs. output daily and pinpoint where material is disappearing.
