Install success isn’t what closes the job. QA/QC approval does.
Your product might be perfect, your crew might be fast, and the delivery might hit the window. But if QA doesn’t have the right data, if tolerances weren’t confirmed, or if documentation shows up late—you’ll still miss turnover targets.
Where QA/QC derailments happen:
Cure logs don’t match batch numbers
Labels rubbed off due to poor packaging
Spec sheets missing the signed-off revision
Distributors who prevent it:
Provide ready-to-submit QA packets grouped by install zone
Align product data with QA checklists—no reformatting required
Coordinate with QA reps, not just PMs, 48 hours before final walk
QA isn’t a side process. It’s the final gate. And if you fumble there, it doesn’t matter how well you ran the ball up the field.
