The phrase “plant visibility” gets thrown around a lot. But what does a truly visible plant look like in 2025? It’s not just about seeing numbers on a dashboard—it’s about aligning every role, in real time, around shared performance, accountability, and decisions.

Start at the operator level. Visibility means knowing:

How current performance compares to target

That means digital work instructions, shift-specific goals, and screens showing machine status and throughput—updated live.

For supervisors, visibility includes:
